Husband, bro in-law held for dowry harassment
SURAT: Police have arrested husband and brother in-law of a 31-year-old woman for mentally and physically torturing her for dowry.As per the complaint registered by Manisha Limbasiya of Neelkanth Society, Kapodara, she was physically and mentally tortured by her husband Ashok and brother in-law Chatur on March 23. They asked her to get money from her father living in Amreli. They thrashed and threatened her with life and fled.
Manisha registered the case on March 27. Police caught Ashok and Chatur on Thursday night from their residence. The case has been handed over to Mahila police station.
